Begin your stay with a fantastic trip in a canoe/kayak through the heart of the Ardèche gorges. Continue with a choice of must-see sites: the Grotte Chauvet 2 with its prehistoric history (this is new addition to the abundance of visits around the Ardèche and opened in April 2015) or the Aven d’Orgnac with its majestic natural formations.

Day 1: Canoe-Kayak
Appointment at Vallon Pont d’Arc for a day or a half-day in canoe-kayak.
A small descent (4 miles for families and children, with a possibility of a 7 miles descent) or a long descent (14 miles for the sportiest persons) in the Gorges of Ardèche.
A great trek at the heart of the nature reserve’s canyon to discover a wild and preserved nature, wonderful landscapes….. Guaranteed astonishment!
A return to the starting point by shuttle.

Day 2: Pont d’Arc Cavern or Orgnac Aven
You have the choice to discover one of these wonders:

In a deep cave the first artists of the humanity have painted a masterpiece: horses, lions, rhinoceros, and many other captured live animals: running, hunting or fighting to each other.
36 000 years later, scientists, engineers, and artists have realised a unique in the world achievement. They have recreated this original cave: The Pont d’Arc Cavern, revealing this extraordinary all of paintings and illustrations and making perceptible the emotion felt by the discoverers of the cave twenty years before.
